Queen Elisabeth, wife of Franz Joseph loved spending time in Hungary. Her favorite palace is in the suburbs of Budapest. The palace, which has been beautifully restored in recent years, can be reached quickly and easily from the city center of Budapest, making it ideal for a half-day excursion.
In the palace we can first visit the palace museum (with a private guided tour), then there is the opportunity for a walk in the beautifully renewed garden. A visit to the palace café should of course not be missed.
